GE-68/GA-68 GENERATOR MANUFACTURED IN RUSSIA

Intended use: The German-gallium generator is used to synthesize gallium 68-labeled compounds and further diagnose neuroendocrine tumors (insulinoma, gastrinoma, carcinoids, small-cell lung cancer, pituitary tumors, medullary thyroid cancer, breast cancer, melanoma, etc.) using PET method, as well as to monitor the effectiveness of chemotherapy and radionuclide therapy in patients with oncological diseases. This will probably give to us the possibility to early detect micrometastases and to identify their species-specifity in different cancers, as well as to differentiate between oncological and other pathological processes. Increasing the specificity of the binding of labeled compounds with targeted organ or tissue is one of the major challenges facing radiopharmaceutical agents developers.
