Molybdenum-100 (Mo-100) is a highly enriched stable isotope of molybdenum.
Product application
Mo-100 is used to produce Tc-99m at neutron gas pedals for cancer diagnostics. This is an alternative direct method of producing Tc-99m to the long-standing method of producing Tc-99m from technetium generators charged with Mo-99. Mo-100 is also used for nutrition studies in humans. Mo-100 is also used in scientific studies of neutrineless double beta-rays decay.
