The main areas of application of Heavy Water are nuclear medicine, nuclear power and nuclear engineering industry. Heavy water and deuterium find application in research facilities (Sudbury Neutrino Observatory etc), as isotopic label in chemistry, biology, and hydrology and as solvent in NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) spectroscopy.
Heavy water is supplied in 30 liters cans of stainless still, upon customers’ request,
